About me

I am currently the 2025-26 American Physical Society Congressional Science Fellow.

I previously served as a California Council on Science and Technology Policy Fellow. I was fortunate to get to spend my fellowship year in the office of Chair David Hochschild of the California Energy Commission working on energy topics ranging from energy storage technologies to transmission planning.

At Georgia Tech’s Center for Relativistic Astrophysics, under the advisement of Dr. Laura Cadonati, I worked on multi-messenger searches for gravitational waves as a member of the LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA collaboration of gravitational wave detectors.

I graduated with my Ph.D. in Physics in August 2024. As part of my PhD, I earned the Certificate of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management from GT’s School of Public Policy. In 2018 I graduated with a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.

When I’m not doing research, I love to hike, read (I’m always looking for recommendations!), and make the occasional painting.

Here are a few paintings I’ve done over the years:
